How do I qualify for this promotion?

You need to purchase an PIXMA G7020, MAXIFY GX7021 or MAXIFY GX6021 at a participating Canon Authorized Dealer (in-store or online) during the promotional period (10/04/23-10/26/23).

When do I need to submit my application form in order to qualify?

All applications must be submitted within thirty (30) days of purchase.

When do I have to purchase in order to qualify?

The promotional period is from 10/04/23-10/26/23.

What is the last day to fill out the application form?

The last day to fill out the application form is 11/26/23, which is 30 days before the promotional offer ends on 10/26/23

How many times can I participate in this promotion?

You may only participate in this promotion once. If you attempt to enter more than once, subsequent entries will not be accepted.

What is considered to be an acceptable proof of purchase?

Shop purchases: For in-store purchases, Canon requires a copy of your receipt showing payment and the necessary product name information. The receipt must include the product purchased, the price you paid, the name of the retailer, and the date of purchase.

Website purchases: For online purchases, Canon requires a copy of your order confirmation and the necessary product serial number information. The order confirmation must include the product purchased, the price you paid, the name of the retailer, and the date of purchase.

Where can I locate my product’s serial number?

The exact positioning of Canon serial numbers can differ from product to product. Please consult this useful link to determine the general positioning of Canons serial codes for your specific product.

How old do I have to be to qualify for a Reward?

You must be 18 years or older at the time of purchase to participate in this Promotion and a resident of Canada. If you are under the age of 18, and/or not a resident of Canada, you may not participate in this promotion.

What transactions/products are excluded from this promotion?

Full details regarding which products are eligible for each promotion are provided on our website. Any specific product exclusions are also detailed in the promotional Terms & Conditions that are also available from the promotional website. Exclusions include:

  1. Non-promotional products – i.e. products that are not specifically mentioned as eligible products under the Terms & Conditions of the promotion on the Canon website;
  2. Products that have been purchased outside of the advertised designated promotional sales period window;
  3. Second-hand, refurbished, or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” import products).

I have noticed that some other Canon countries are holding different promotions for different products – why does Canon offer different promotions on different products in different countries?

Sometimes other countries run different Canon promotions as they may be better suited to their own local customers or markets.

I was unaware of this promotion and I purchased a product a few weeks before/after the specified promotion dates. Can Canon make an exception and authorize a Travel Reward for my purchase?

We apologize that you have had this experience; however, you can apply for the promotion only if your product is purchased within the dates stipulated in the Terms and Conditions.

Is it possible for me to apply for this promotion by post instead of online?

Check the status of your claim

How can I track the progress of my claim?

Within 2 days of registering your claim, you will receive an e-mail containing login details: a unique username and password to access the site. These give you access to login and track the progress of your claim. Please note: from the time of registering your claim it can take up to 10 days for all the information to be validated.

You can quickly check the status of your claim here and enter your claim reference number (this is on the top right of the confirmation email sent to you which you would have received when you submitted your claim).

On the tracking website it says my claim is being processed, what does this mean?

Once you receive an e-mail confirming your claim has been validated (up to 10 days after registering) it will be sent for receiving your Travel Reward Credit. It can take up to 28 days from validation before you receive your credit (although in most instances it is sooner).

Below is an explanation of each claim status:

Being processed
This status indicates that your application has been received and is currently being processed by our representatives.

Missing info
This status indicates that data is missing. For example, the serial number provided is not valid or the proof of purchase does not show the date of purchase. The reason for this status is displayed under the ‘Comments’ section.

Valid
This status indicates that all data has been provided and the claim has been successfully validated, i.e. you don’t need to provide any additional information in relation to your claim.

Invalid
This status indicates that the claim submission does not comply with the promotional terms and conditions. For example, the purchase was not made within the valid promotional dates. The reason for this status is displayed under the ‘Comments’ section.

Why can’t I log onto the website to track the progress of my claim?

Please note the login is case-sensitive so please ensure you type it in exactly (with upper/lower case) as you have received it.

How many times can I apply for a reward code?

There is a limit of one (1) application allowed per person and per email address. 

I am having trouble redeeming my rewards, what should I do?

If you are having trouble with your reward code, please email The Canon Travel Rewards Team at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you.

I never received my reward code.

Check your spam folder! This is the most common reason people cannot find their reward codes. If you checked and it is still not there, please contact us at [email protected].

How long will my reward code be valid?

Your reward code is valid once received and must be redeemed on the Travel for Credit reward site within 30 days. Once the reward is redeemed on the Travel for Credit site, you have until 10/26/24 to use it.

When do I receive my reward code?

Within ten (10) business days of submitting your application, you will receive an email from the Canon Creator Lab Team, instructing you on how to redeem your reward code.

What is Credit For Travel?

Credit for Travel is an online platform that offers Canon customers access to Credit For Travel’s wholesale rates of up to 50% off more than 400,000 hotels, rental cars, weekly vacation rentals, and activities worldwide. In addition, Credit For Travel features no blackout dates or travel restrictions. All reservations are guaranteed, and once you book, you will have access to 24/7 customer support for any questions regarding your reservation.

How Does Credit For Travel Work?

Enter your Travel Savings Reward Code on Creditfortravel.com and create an account. Your Travel Savings will appear at the top left corner of the screen (“Savings Bank Balance”). Choose from hotels and resorts by destination, car rentals, or activities. Once your reservation is complete, your Travel Savings will be deducted from your Savings Bank Balance. Note: You may not be able to use all of your credit in a single transaction. The amount of savings applied to each reservation is determined by the property you’ve chosen, travel dates, and other variables.

The amount of savings applied to each reservation is determined by the property you’ve chosen, travel dates, and other variables.

Can I use all of my Travel Savings toward my reservation?

In many cases, you are able to use all of your Travel Savings towards one reservation. However, in some cases, you may not be able to use all of your savings in a single transaction. The amount of savings applied to each reservation is determined by the property you’ve chosen, travel dates, and other variables.

Can I combine multiple Travel Savings Reward Codes for additional savings?

Yes. The Travel Savings are stackable–you can add multiple Travel Savings Reward Codes to accumulate your Savings Bank Balance.

How do I add an additional Travel Savings code to my account?

Log in to CreditForTravel.com and click “My Account” on the top right of your screen. Enter your additional Travel Savings Reward Code where it says, “Activate an additional code” and click “Activate” and you’re done. Your Savings Bank Balance will automatically update on the top left of your screen.

Is there a minimum stay required?

No. There is no minimum stay required. You can stay for a minimum of one night or the maximum number of nights allowed for the hotel you select.

Can I change or cancel my reservation? Is my reservation refundable?

Reservations booked on the website cannot be changed or modified once booked but may be cancelled per the terms and conditions for the chosen hotel or resort. Cancellation policies will vary depending on the hotel or resort you selected. Cancelled reservations may incur a cancellation fee.

Can I give my Travel Savings Reward Code to a friend or family member?

Yes. The Travel Savings Reward Code is fully transferable prior to activation. Once activated, the Travel Savings Reward Code is non-transferable. The person activating the Travel Savings Reward Code must be the person traveling or using the service.

Do I have to provide credit card information to use the Travel Savings Reward Code?

Yes. All customers must supply a valid form of payment (and have the authority to use it) when making a reservation and taking advantage of this reward.
