Socality x Canon Creator Lab is excited to announce an exciting Community Event in Calgary, Alberta – a morning with exclusive private access to Calgary’s stunning new Central Library.
Join us on February 23rd for an unforgettable morning connecting and creating with creatives from Calgary and beyond. This private event will allow our community an amazing opportunity to explore and capture this architectural masterpiece while it’s closed to the public. Light snacks and coffee will be provided by the team at Luke’s for all attendees. We’ll also be providing everyone with a commemorative gift.
The morning will be broken into two parts, with a time to network and connect with other creatives in the area followed by an opportunity to explore and use the stunning architecture of the library as your creative canvas.
These events provide a great way to get plugged into the local creative community in Calgary and Alberta at large, meet new people, learn and create together, and engage in meaningful conversations.
Who’s the event for?
Whether your interest lies in photography, video, social media, blogging, or one of a variety of other creative disciplines, these events are inclusive and open to everyone, regardless of whether you’re just starting out on your creative journey or have been in the industry for years.

As part of the Canon Creator Lab program, a variety of Canon gear will be available to try including mirrorless bodies and the latest lenses. If you’d like to borrow Canon equipment to shoot during the event, please bring your own SD Card and a valid piece of government ID. A limited amount of gear will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
