Socality x Canon Creator Lab is excited to announce our first Community Event in Edmonton, Alberta – a morning at the Ice Castles.
Join us on January 25th for an unforgettable morning exploring the awe-inspiring Ice Castles. This private event will allow our community to connect and create together while exploring and capturing this beautiful annual installation in Edmonton.
Following our time at the Ice Castles, we’ll head over to the Foundry Room located in the Oliver Exchange building for some time to connect with everyone over tea, coffee, and baked goods. There we’ll also be providing everyone with a commemorative gift.
A couple buses will be available to shuttle you over to the Foundry Room following the event on a first come first serve basis for those who are coming via transit, taxi, or ride shares.
These events provide a great way to get plugged into the local creative community in Edmonton and Alberta at large, meet new people, learn and create together, and engage in meaningful conversations.
Who’s the event for?
Whether your interest lies in photography, video, social media, blogging, or one of a variety of other creative disciplines, these events are inclusive and open to everyone, regardless of whether you’re just starting out on your creative journey or have been in the industry for years.

As part of the Canon Creator Lab program, a variety of Canon gear will be available to try including mirrorless bodies and the latest lenses. If you’d like to borrow Canon equipment to shoot during the event, please bring your own SD Card and a valid piece of government ID. A limited amount of gear will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

*Due to the limited availability of tickets for this event, there is a $10 cover charge to secure your spot. This is to ensure you attend and also register only for the actual tickets you need. Space is limited to 100 people and we want to ensure that those who sign up take their spot.
